Journal Attorney – Attorney General Treg Taylor joined the Alaska Department of Law in 2018, initially serving as the Deputy Attorney General overseeing the civil division. Before this role, he was senior counsel for ASRC Energy Services, LLC, a subsidiary of Arctic Slope Regional Corporation, Alaska’s largest locally-owned business. Taylor also worked as counsel for McKinley Capital Management, an investment management firm based in Anchorage, Alaska. His legal career began in Anchorage, where he spent four years at a commercial litigation firm. Taylor earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and a law degree from Brigham Young University. He and his wife Jodi have six children and reside in Anchorage, Alaska.
